"With a few clicks on HealthCare.gov, you’ll find private insurance companies competing for your business. You can compare plans and choose the one that’s right for your family. In fact, most Americans will find an option that costs less than $75 a month." —President Obama: http://go.wh.gov/AiDgSq #GetCovered

Dorie Griggs Our family has benefitted greatly by the healthcare changes the President worked tirelessly on. For years I had to pay close to $1000 a month for a plan just for me due to preexisting conditions. We now have decent coverage for our whole family. Thank you President Obama.Voir la traduction

Barbara Cox My lowest option is $198 a month with a $6,500 deductible. Dr visits are not co-paid until deductible is paid first. The next options are $289 - $350 with a $4000 deductible. The plans are getting worse not better! I have to chose between eating and paying for this now - next year I will have to chose between electricity and food or my health care.Voir la traduction

Darlene Frances Depending on how healthy you are it may be worth it to pay the IRS 'fine'... and keep your fingers crossed. The ACA is no where near the fix we needed... but it's a step in the right direction. Good luck, Barbara.Voir la traduction

Janice D'Agostino based upon income and other things you put in (like smoking) and the type of plan you are looking at from bronze to platinum. It's not all the monthly premium you know. It is simple to reduce it to that though if you want to complain.Voir la traduction

Jamie Jamieson Janice D'Agostino you can do things to lower premium not the fact deductible is so high so pay most of income to deductible before they pay at all then premium is total waste of money since could have just done no insurance and the premiums actually pay bills from like a savings account as insuranceVoir la traduction

Caroline Siemers I think it's important to understand what the exchanges "control" and what the physician networks and insurance companies control. Barbara, it's a challenge to be sure. But insurance might be much much higher without the exchange, esp in a small market.Voir la traduction

Caroline Siemers Barbara, I hear you. The insurance companies most of all are not happy with ACA. They want their sky high profit margins and are struggling to keep them, making it so hard for us as consumers.Voir la traduction

Kevin Lacy And if you like your Kool-Aid you can keep your Kool-Aid and save up to $2500 a year on Kool-Aid a year. But if you don't buy Kool-Aid you'll get your Kool-Aid for free. And if you don't like Kool-Aid you'll pay a fine for the Kool-Aid you didn't likeVoir la traduction

Elisabeth K. Hill They may be changing now that many dropped it because they got screwed over, receiving a letter that the premiums would double. The changes will be made. People will again buy this and at the end of the year after paying the premium, something will change and you will be required to pay back most of the 'benefit' they gave you. Its a racketVoir la traduction

Terri Deems My lowest option is 300/mo with $6000 deductible, so it doesn't work yet for me. Even so, I support this, as it has helped so many, many other people. Improvements can always be made, but those will come, in time. Can't blame Obama - the plan he ended up with wasn't the plan he wanted initially.Voir la traduction

Sharon Thompson Smith As high as your premiums and deductibles may seem the rest of us have been paying these outragous costs for years and that's under a group plan through work with work picking up most of the cost. Having said that, much more needs to be done to make healthcare much cheaper. The insurance companies greed gets worse all the time. If you vote Republican it will get even worse. We need universal health care.Voir la traduction
